Kyudo Practice
These photos are of my first attempts of shooting at the target. I shot about twenty ya (arrows), and hit the target one time. Even that one time was completely luck, but thankfully luck does help out sometimes. There is still much work to do before my focus is good enough to be precise.

Mis amigas say "que guapo" {how handsome} and I have to agree! Have you read Zen and the Art of Archery? It's a short book about a guy who guys to Japan and learns archery. My advisor says it's excelente!
Keep moving slowly, with not too much ambition about the target. FOrm, form and awareness of Chi/hara/breath!! avoiding slap in the face and years of undoing bad habits!
